Depending on your last camping trip, your tent may need some deep cleaning. It is very important to clean your tent after using it each time. This will avoid any mold, pests, and bacteria to stay on the tent. Below are the instructions on how to clean your tent.
First, start by assembling your tent. This is very necessary for the best cleaning of your tent. Then, you should sweep the floor of your tent to remove any spiders, pests, or dirt that was left from the trip. You should then spray the outside of your tent down. This will remove dust and any mud on the outside. Make sure the door of the tent is closed while doing this to avoid getting any moisture inside. Then, spray the floor with antibacterial spray. This will get rid of any germs from your last trip and will also avoid any germs that will come about for your next trip. Let the antibacterial spray sit for about five or so minutes before wiping it up with paper towels.
Next, spray the window screens of the tent with a small amount of antibacterial spray, then wipe them up gently with the paper towels. Before putting it away, make sure you let the tent sit out for several hours to make sure all the cleaning solutions have dried. Once the entire tent has dried, you are then able to pack it back up. It will then be ready and clean for your next trip. Don't forget to clean it regularly after ever trip. This will make sure all the germs and dirt will not be in the tent during the use after this one.
